The community of Nelson, British Columbia, mourns the passing of Judson Wright, a valued member of Kootenay Backcountry Guides. Judson was widely recognized for his friendly and supportive nature. He worked alongside colleagues on marketing objectives at Cantina Del Centro and Yum Son, where his professionalism and positive attitude left a lasting impression. Those who participated in his AST1 course recall his patience, guidance, and sense of humor, which made learning both enjoyable and memorable.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Judson’s dedication extended to community service. Locally, he was known for his commitment as a crosswalk guard, where he approached his role with enthusiasm and care, reflecting his concern for the safety and well-being of others.
